AAAAA Whoop!

On Wednesday, Aunt Alex signed with Texas A&M University to play softball! We are so proud of her and really excited because we are adding another Aggie to the family!

Last time Alex visited A&M she picked up one of the cutest shirts I have ever seen for Kiley.  She then bedazzled it with Kiley's name! She did a great job! Kiley was the center of attention along with Alex and she was loving every minute.  When there is a lot of people around that's when she puts on a show.  Being shy is not one of her traits.

After daycare Tuesday, I decided that it would be fun to take Kiley to the playground by the Elementary School.  She loves to go there and it is a great place to kill time and let her get out all her energy! The moment she saw the playground she started pointing and saying "Nom, Nom, Nom!" I don't know what that means, but everytime she sees the playground that is what she says.  Once we parked she started yelling, "Yea!" and clapping her hands.  She couldn't wait to get out of her car seat and the minute I put her down she took off running! The tiniest things make her so excited - you can still see the excitement in her face in this picture!

So, Kiley has hit another milestone, she is 18 months old and counting.  I know I say this all the time, but time really does go by fast.  In a blink of an eye, our little girl has grown up into a toddler.  Her and her daddy are the loves of my life and everyday spent with them warms my heart! Along with that, during the time we left for our trip until the present Kiley has learned so many new words and sayings.

 - If you ask Kiley, "What does Zoe say?" she now responds by barking! It is the sweetest little bark that I have ever heard.  Definitely not a Zoe bark, which is really loud and high pitched. I asked her today "What does a cow say?" and she responded by mooing! I was so shocked and of course so proud!

- She now wants everything the grown ups are having, including tea.  She gets tea at supper time with the grown ups and she loves it! So, of course, she quickly learned to say, "tea!"

- The same day that Aunt Alex had her signing, I told Kiley that she was going to see her Nana & Papa.  She sweetly said, "Papa." I said "That's right!" and Nanna asked her, "Can you say Nana?" All she did was shake her head and said "No." Now the name Papa has been a popular thing for her to say.

- It use to be if you asked Kiley how old she was she would hold up her pointer finger in response.  Now if you ask how old anyone is, it's the same response.  Everyone is one years old! With Kiley everyone gets extremely younger!

- Kiley got a new book called, Dora's Book of Manners.  Nanna & I asked her the other day if she could say Dora? She sweetly repeated "Dora!" This name has now turned into a sentence, "Go Dora Go!" I think that is pretty awesome for an 18 month old!

All those things just happened in the last 2 weeks, which guarantees that there is much more surprises to come and we can't wait to hear what she will say next!

Until next week, Gig'em & God Bless!!

Peace, Love, & Halloween!

Trick or Treat? Kiley's 1st trick or treating halloween and she had so much fun! The cutest Hippie Baby I have ever seen!

October 29, marked the day that Jason and I went on a cruise with Jason's Aunt & Uncle, Bitsy and Lynn and 4 more couples.  It also meant that we would be leaving our baby for 6 days and would miss her terribly! I knew she would be well taken care of by her Nanna & Pops and would of course be a good girl.  Why does it always seem that your child is the sweetest when you are gone? I think it is all part of her little plan so, that Nanna & Pops will always want to watch her. So, since we would be gone 6 days, it also meant that we were going to be missing Kiley's halloween.  From what Nanna told us, Kiley got a hang of the idea pretty quickly and by the end of the round of houses they visited she was walking up to the door and holding out her basket! Of course she got a hang of it! The holiday involves her getting candy! Why wouldn't she love that?

On to the next house in her little red wagon and some treats!

Nanna & Pops took plenty of pictures while we were gone so we could catch up on Kiley's activities! We are so thankful that they did that for us.  I knew it would be hard to leave her for 6 days, but had no idea it would be as hard as it was! Once we got to the house Jason and I were like little children racing into the house to see our little girl first.  I let Jason go first because Kiley is a Mama's girl and I wanted him to get his hugs and kisses in.  When we got inside she was so excited to see us and ran to give us hugs and kisses.  Her hugs are the best by the way!  Afterwards, we went to lunch and she kept staring at Jason and I, probably wondering if we were there to stay this time.

Every oversived stuff animal Kiley sees she wants to sit on! Gotta love her, but she is a Giddings Buffalo fan!

Thanks for reading and until next time, Gig'em & God Bless!
